Kendall Rae Johnson kicked off her Youth Ambassador 1890 Tour at Virginia State, taking the university by storm. Attending the university’s annual AgFest, Kendall and family set up a table at the farmers market selling books, merch, teas, honey, and more. Selling out of her “My Farm Biz” books, she networked with university leadership as well as local farmers and students. Kendall also got to spend a day with Carver Elementary students playing a life-sized board game created by our local youth extension. The game focused on familiarizing the youth with growing practices and agribusiness principles. They then toured Randolph Farm and met some of our amazing extension agents.
